Russian photographer Danil Golovkin’s ‘Addicted to Glamour’ photograph series isn’t your everyday set of covergirl images. Instead, they show the gritty, dark side of the fashion industry and the people who buy into it.
What we see on the outside are beautiful models dressed in expensive couture. What goes on behind the scenes is sometimes a little less glamorous, with some models suffering from drug abuse, eating disorders and body dysmorphia.
This was a personal project for Golovkin, who has done cover shoots for GQ, Vogue and Glamour magazines, as well as photo shoots with numerous models and celebrities.
